NSF Grant: Human-ai Teaming

In May 2020, our research team received a National Science RAPID/ Collaborative grant to study the process of real-time decisions that digital volunteers make when quickly converting social media data into codes for AI machines. This will allow us to better the human-machine teaming. Here is the link that gives all the details of our grant. 

Our team

The team members are Keri K. Stephens, Moody College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin, Amanda L. Hughes, Information Technology & Cybersecurity, at Brigham Young University, Hemant Purohit, Information Science & Technology at George Mason University, and Steve Peterson, Volunteer Coordinator at Montgomery County Community Emergency Response Team.
